In April 2022, after experiencing two years of battling COVID-19, OTLF organized a luncheon to recognize student volunteers who helped organize the University Health Network(UHN) Fundraising Event in 2020. The members and mentors gathered to celebrate the results of this event. The honorary mentors awarded students and teams who achieved excellent results in the UHN Fundraising Event and showed great teamwork and leadership skills during this presentation. 

In 2020, Coronavirus spread rapidly and hit the entire world with an unprecedented challenge. Ontario has encountered a provincial-wide lockdown, with the closing of general stores and the remote operations of schools and companies. On April 13th, 2020, OTLF launched a COVID- 19 Relief Fund to purchase personal protective equipment for the University Health Network (UHN). In four weeks, the students raised 371 donations and $25,175.72 to purchase surgical masks, goggles, and other antipest materials. After the event, UHN expressed sincere gratitude to the youth and parents of the OTLF for their dedication.
